Christmas snow flakes

Even though we don't have snow at Christmas, we still love to do our Christmas cards with snowflakes. I coloured matt card with Kaleidacolor blue breeze, stamped and embossed my snowflakes and added a Christmas tree in the corner. I used a rub on for the sentiment and highlighted the card with crystal glitter glue, so it sparkles.

You know, I wondered about that. If it is summer, why am I seeing winter cards? Why don't I see more winter cards in June and July?

I grew up in Miami, Florida (USA) and it is warm enough to swim in the ocean all year round. I really resented the popular image of a white Christmas - I liked my green Christmas just fine. I liked spending my holiday on the beach. I liked riding around on my bicycle looking at all the holiday decorations.

Don't ask me why I felt the sudden need to wax nostalgic right them. Your silver snowflakes are lovely for any time of the year.
