Alcohol Ink Press

This is one of my favourite techniques from Technique Junkies. I stamped onto acetate and embossed, then applied alcohol inks to the back of the acetate, gives a rich colouring and looks so great on collage stamps. I recently bought the cogs and the keys from America so just had to use them to set the card off. The letters ART were cut from my Tim Holtz alphabet die, love the look.

Birdcage Birthday Card

For the BG of this card I used a piece of white cardstock, spritzed it with a light coating of water and coloured with Tim Holtz worn lipstick distress ink. Waited until it was dry and then crumpled it into a small ball, unfolded and then coloured the ridges with the same colour stamp pad. The stand is made with spellbinder's dies and the birdcage and bird is from a TH die.

Butterfly Card

I just so love this card, made with a cuttlebug BG and a medallian spellbinders die to set the butterfly off. I highlighted the butterfly with a white gel pen to give it a greater impact...

Vintage Art Just One

This is my card for the Just One Swap through Technique Junkies in America. The BG was done with Tim Holtz distress inks in old paper and tea dye, then stamped with music. I love the ballerina image which I stamped with Chocolate Ancient Page onto plain white cardstock. The flowers were coloured with gold buffing cream and pearls applied, the ticket came through an image google search. Sending to America today!

Bookmark Swaps

NZ Stampers run regular swaps and one of the latest was a bookmark for your partner with their interests on. I had just seen this corner page technique on Technique Junkies so decided to make one of those as well.

Have spent two days off and on trying to solve how I can get blog posts to transfer to my facebook... at last success!
