Another Copic's Card

I am improving all the time with my copics, love the way you can achieve light and shadow in your artwork. I stamped the BG card with versamark and my BG stamp and then applied clear embossing powder. The black hearts are to give it a lift.

Copic Markers

This week has been an adventure discovering how to use my copic markers more effectively with the help of my TJ friend Ann Clack, she has given me so many good tips and a website which has clear instructions and tutorials. This is the card I made this morning to send to her as a big thank you, she is the greatest, as is Melanie who I have purchased the markers through. So good to have the help of stamping friends.

Double Bugging

Double Bugging - a technique junkie technique - I decided to use yellow after seeing cards posted in yellow and really liking them. The pear is a stamp I used to have and it perished so much to my delight saw it on trademe and was able to purchase again. I stamped it with my kaleidacolor stamp pad in browns and then covered with metallic copper embossing powder which gives the pear a nice sheen.

RAK for Muriel

This technique is out of one of my favourite books, used powdered pigments and alcohol inks. The book is well worth having "Texture Effects for Rubber Stamping" by Nancy Curry, I am sending this card to Australia in the morning.

RAK for my friend Robyn

Made this card for my friend Robyn in Robina, Qld, we have been friends for a long time. The technique is a TJ one and it was easy to make and look cheery. The cup and saucer and the coffee pot are both Montargo stamps, I used them as I wanted Robyn to know that I would love to pop in and have a cuppa.

Modification

Wasn't completely happy with this card, couldn't see the sentiment so unmounted and remounted and used Black Detail Embossing powder. Happy now!

RAK for Germaina

I so like slicing up cards and making them to look like window frames. I made this BG a long time ago and was searching through a drawer for something else and decided to use it, it truly was a forgotten treasure. The images are all embossed with metallic bronze embossing powder (Judi-Kins) except for the little rabbits which I stamped in detail black and the Best Wishes which I cover with Fantasy Torquoise.

Travel ATC's

This month's theme is travel and once again I have used distress inks because they are easy to work with and I like the finished effect. The travel stamp is by Judi-Kins, I used metallic copper embossing powder, a travel add on done with my label maker and it was all finished.
