My sister Jill's birthday card

Made this card with white cardstock covered thickly with gesso and left to dry. Colour with water colour crayons in several colours and to the depth of colour desired. The heart was made with opals onto thick cardboard in a heart shape with several layers and different colours added in. When thick enough I stamped into the heart with a patterned stamp and gold ink. Cut scroll, glue to card, mount heart, add sequins and sentiment to finish.

Latest minute Christmas Cards

Needed two last minute Christmas cards, similar them but easy peasy, lots of glitter, pearls to add bling.

Christmas Card

Colour cardstock with watercolour crayons of two colours, when dry emboss with chosen cuttlebug folder, highlight with gold buffing paste. Rip a piece of music sheet to appropriate size, spray to colour and highlight again with gold buffing paste. Cut shape, I used one of my kaleiacolor stamp pads outlined and cut with scissors, colour again with watercolour crayons, then cut shape again out of glitter paper and mount on top. The poinsettias are cut from red cardstock and outlined again with the gold and a little glitter. I mounted the watercolour painted sentiment last with mounting tape. Quite pleased with the effect.

Love this die

I sent to America for this die and just love it. Cut a 5" piece of white cardstock and lay the die along one edge and put through cuttlebug. Cut a gold glitter strip and mount underneath and glue white glitter strips to look like snow laying around, stamp you sentiment. I have a solid deer stamp which I used on the back of the glitter card and cut out carefully, glueing it on the top of the card. Really pleased with the look.

Take two, really like this look

Really like this technique so a different colour and look...

Love this card

This is such a lovely card and simple to make... cut one of your dies, keeping the inside as well as the outside. Using your watercolour crayons paint within the outside cardboard the shape and then wait to dry... covering the coloured shape, draw around it in black then slightly move and draw around again. Using a mask of the inside shape stamp your swirls and then flick paint on to work to give a bit of colour over swirls. Finally mount flowers and stamp sentiment... Easy peasy card, love it!
